In order to be able to offer customers worldwide an even broader solution portfolio, Weber Food Technology has entered into a strategic partnership with DERO GROEP. In addition to the technical solutions, this cooperation combines the extensive experience and specialist knowledge of both companies for the benefit of customers in the food industry.

DERO GROEP is a Dutch company that specializes in a variety of areas of expertise, including robotics, cheese making systems, convenience machines and end of line machines. DERO GROEP has earned an excellent reputation, particularly in the area of automated cheese processing, and offers both individual solutions and integrated systems for production systems. This expertise perfectly complements the offering of the complete line solution provider Weber, which has always stood for innovation and quality in food processing. “Our customers will benefit significantly from this cooperation, as we will be able to offer them even more comprehensive solutions for processing and packaging their products in the future. As part of the collaboration, DERO GROEP and Weber will jointly develop OEM products for handling, delaminating and dividing cheese for Weber,” explains Jörg Schmeiser, Chief Business Development & Innovation Officer at Weber. The many successful customer projects that Weber and DERO GROEP have already implemented together in the past prove that this partnership will bear fruit. Above all, the passion for always finding the best solution for customers is a driving force that connects both family-run companies and will benefit food processing companies worldwide in the future. “In a world in which resources are becoming scarcer every day, it makes sense to join forces not only for the mutual benefit of our companies, but above all for our customers. This collaboration means providing added value and innovative solutions to meet the changing needs of our mutual customers,” says Richard Bouma, Managing Director of DERO Joure.
