Animal welfare office warns of meat products from China

The German Animal Welfare Office is warning against the consumption of meat and sausage products from China, which can often be found in ready meals - especially Chinese frozen products - in relation to the corona virus.

In a sample of branches of five supermarket chains in Germany, the animal rights activists found poultry and rabbit meat from China as frozen goods, as the association announced on Thursday eat other animal products from China," said CEO Jan Peifer. "This is purely a precautionary measure." For meat products from China, the information about the country of origin is usually found on the back. According to the Animal Welfare Office, the country in which an animal was slaughtered must be specified for products sold in this country just to name a few," continued Peifer. Billions of animals suffered from the inappropriate attitude, "it's pure animal cruelty". The German Animal Welfare Office generally advises against the consumption of meat and other animal products for reasons of animal welfare, health and environmental protection.
