Anuga 2017: fully booked exhibition halls

At the upcoming Anuga, visitors from the trade and the out-of-home market can expect a bulging shopping cart in fully booked exhibition halls. For five days, 7.200 suppliers from 100 countries present the world market offer of food and beverages. Anuga 2017 thus surpasses its top result of 2015. Around 160.000 trade visitors from over 190 countries are expected. 89 percent of suppliers and 69 percent of customers come from abroad. Anuga is the most important trading, sourcing and trend platform for the international food industry.

With its comprehensive range, the fair not only reaches decision-makers from international trade, but also the leading buyers from the out-of-home market and buyers from the major online platforms. Anuga occupies the entire Cologne exhibition center. It is one of the largest in the world. 284.000 m² gross exhibition space in 11, partly multi-storey halls, four entrances, a continuous exhibition boulevard and a central piazza ensure quick connections and a high quality of stay. With its concept of “10 trade fairs under one roof”, Anuga enables clear thematic assignments and orientation in the abundance of offers. This year, too, there are some conceptual adjustments that further structure and condense the offer.

For the first time, coffee, tea & co. Will have an independent presence under the trade fair name “Anuga Hot Beverages”. So far, the hot drinks were shown together with bread and baked goods in a trade fair. The new “Anuga Hot Beverages” trade fair takes account of the growing importance of this segment. The new trade fair has received an excellent response, so that it will present a diverse coffee and tea landscape in October. The topic of "culinary delights" will also be redefined at Anuga. To this end, the “Anuga Culinary Concepts” trade fair brings together the art of cooking, technology, equipment and gastronomic concepts. As in previous years, this is where the final decisions of the two established professional competitions “Chef of the Year” and “Pastry Chef of the Year” take place. Customers from the out-of-home market have numerous contact points here that offer information, entertainment and contact with the stars of the cooking scene.
