SÜFFA 2017 scores with a wide range

Trade fair with a new sequence of days / industry meeting place invites you to a professional exchange about innovations and new products in the butcher trade. After a one-year break, SÜFFA, the trade fair for the meat industry, will be showing all facets of the industry from 21 to 23 October in Stuttgart: all the market leaders will once again be there. Around 95 percent of the available space has already been booked at this point in time, and around 260 exhibitors are expected. "The SÜFFA concept has been confirmed once again and is considered a must-attend event for those meat processing businesses that want to be one step ahead in the future," says Andreas Wiesinger, Member of the Management Board at Messe Stuttgart. The offer ranges from machine and device manufacturers to raw material suppliers, shopfitters, workwear manufacturers and service providers.

In addition to the range of exhibitions, visitors can expect an overview of innovative new products, current trends and solution-oriented developments in the butcher's trade. In addition, the industry meeting point offers the ideal opportunity for dialogue. For Joachim Lederer, state guild master in Baden-Württemberg, “SÜFFA is the number one trade fair in Germany. The importance to the craft cannot be overstated. It is always highly motivating to be there.”

Very fresh: SÜFFA for the first time from Saturday to Monday
The SÜFFA starts this year with a changed sequence of days. The fair begins on Saturday, October 21st and ends on Monday, October 23rd. The opening times have also been adjusted: the starting shot will be fired on Saturday at 13 p.m. On Sunday and Monday the SÜFFA opens from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m. The traditional vocational school competitions on the last day of the fair therefore fall on Monday. This has the advantage that the schoolgirls can also use the day of the butcher's wives at the same time and devote themselves to the special offers after the competitions. In addition, the hall layout of the trade fair was changed. SÜFFA will take place in Halls 7 and 9 and can be reached as usual via the West Entrance.

SÜFFAdorf: Networking in a pleasant atmosphere
Dialogue, further training and competitions - "the SÜFFAdorf supplements the exhibition with the many additional points of contact for the needs of one's own company and extends over both halls," explains Sophie Stähle, project manager of the SÜFFA. On the stage for trends and innovations (Hall 7) there will be free specialist lectures by highly qualified speakers, while the new practice stage (Hall 9) offers exhibitors a forum for presenting their new products and visitors an overview of the trends from production and sale allowed.

Another important contact point in the SÜFFAdorf is the stand of the state guild association for the butcher trade in Baden-Württemberg. Here, employees of the association advise trade visitors on questions relating to the butcher trade. Anyone looking for an exchange with colleagues, wanting to strengthen themselves or recovering from a successful day at the trade fair is invited to the regulars' table in Hall 7 in the beer garden.

Special areas for trending topics
At the SÜFFA there will be special areas for some trend topics. The BBQ & Foodtruck Area (Hall 9, Stand 9A71) is dedicated to the interesting new business area in the catering sector and shows how the mobile kitchen is becoming the new revenue generator for the trade. In the special show "The Snackeria" (Hall 9, Stand 9C11), the classic sandwiches are reinvented with suggestions for processing other products such as steaks in addition to sausage and cheese. A fashion show (Hall 7, Stand 7C21) presents trendy outfits and individual clothing models, and in the glass sausage kitchen (Hall 9, Stand 9A59) visitors can experience the production of sausages using the latest technology.

Day of the Butcher's Wives on the Monday of the Fair
With the Butcher's Women's Day, SÜFFA in Stuttgart offers its own meeting place for female industry professionals. The aim is to deliver an all-round package. The boss, as well as the specialist saleswoman or the part-time employee in sales and the kitchen, but also the master in the sausage kitchen will find a varied program tailored to the wishes of the visitors. This year, the focus is on female leaders. With the action code "Butcher's Women" all visitors to the homepage of the fair (www.sueffa.de/metzgerfrauen) in advance up to five free admission tickets for the trade fair visit and thus also a free ticket for local public transport in the Stuttgart VVS area.

An event for the whole family
Many businesses are family-run and will continue to be so in the future. In order to preserve family traditions and turn a visit to the fair into a family day, SÜFFA also offers a children's program. While decision-makers can concentrate on discussions with exhibitors and colleagues without any distraction, the youngsters are happy to play with other children.
