Experience meat quality live with eating & drinking

The winners of theMeat & Greet competition, which QS put out to tender in cooperation with the food magazine eat & drink, experienced first hand in Hamburg what makes really good meat. How do you recognize quality? How do I prepare which cuts? What does the QS certification mark on meat and sausage products stand for?

The participants prepared culinary delicacies together with three chefs from the essen & drink team in the test kitchen of the Gruner + Jahr publishing house. You could ask questions about storage and preparation as well as origin, animal husbandry and quality. The QA expert Robert Römer and Jan Spielhagen, editor-in-chief of essen & drink, answered questions all evening. During the preparation, the guests were able to lend a hand and get valuable tips from the professional chefs. Afterwards they tasted together in good company.
