Edeka in criticism: 15 cent for 100 grams of chicken legs

Edeka is in the criticism - Germany's largest supermarket chain had yesterday on Monday "chicken leg" in the offer: 0,15 € just cost 100 g, ie 1,50 € the kilo. Some consumers found the offer outrageous and morally unacceptable and criticized Edeka, among others, on Facebook. Edeka defends itself and describes the "price hit" as a special price daily campaign, which was limited to only a few markets - at the expense of wholesalers and retailers. Farmers / farmers would not like it. Edeka is also involved in many areas for animal welfare.

To the Facebook post, where Edeka has its say
