Multivac trains

Whether you are a cutting machine operator, IT clerk, machine and plant operator, mechatronics technician or technical product designer: MULTIVAC offers young professionals a qualified range of training opportunities and a wide range of career prospects. For around 40 young people, the new training year marks the start of their careers at the packaging specialist in Wolfertschwandern. The training offer includes 13 professions in the industrial-technical, commercial and IT areas. A total of around 130 young people are currently being trained at the company headquarters.

Apprentices have currently been hired for the professions of electronics technician for automation technology, IT specialist for system integration and application development, specialists for warehouse logistics, industrial electrician for operating technology, industrial clerks, industrial, construction and cutting mechanics, IT clerks, machine and plant operators, mechatronics technicians and technical product designers.

The first days in the company are used for introduction and orientation. The new trainees gain insights into the history, corporate culture and product portfolio of MULTIVAC. On September 3rd there will be a "Team Building Day" with group work and outdoor activities. The apprentices then get to know their department and also the machines and materials in the state-of-the-art MULTIVAC training workshop.

“The training of our own junior staff has the highest priority for us. We are therefore pleased that we were once again able to hire a large number of young, motivated people for the new training year,” explains Maik Seidel, department manager in the MULTIVAC HR department. "Interested students can already apply to us for the upcoming 2020 training year."

Numerous young people are also being trained at the other MULTIVAC production sites in Germany and Austria. With the new training year, ten new trainees are starting their apprenticeship at the Lechaschau (Tyrol) location, which means that there are currently 47 apprentices there in total. At MULTIVAC Marking & Inspection in Enger, three trainees are currently being added, making a total of seven trainees. One junior employee each is being trained at MULTIVAC Resale & Service in Nettetal and at TVI in Irschenberg.
