MULTIVAC receives Axia Best Managed Companies Award 2020
MULTIVAC is a winner of the Axia Best Managed Companies Award 2020, the prize and seal of quality for excellently managed companies awarded by Deloitte, WirtschaftsWoche, Credit Suisse and BDI. Christian Traumann, Managing Director of MULTIVAC, accepted the award yesterday in Munich. Medium-sized companies are important for the German economy. The Axia Best Managed Companies Award honors exemplary companies headquartered in Germany that are medium-sized or family-owned. The participating companies were able to qualify for the award in a multi-stage process. The four core areas of strategy, productivity and innovation, culture and commitment as well as finance and governance were evaluated. The winners were then selected by a jury consisting of renowned representatives from business, science and the media.
“As one of the award winners, MULTIVAC also impresses with its first-class corporate management – through high innovative strength, a strategy based on the long term and strong governance structures. MULTIVAC is therefore not only a benchmark for excellently managed medium-sized companies, but also symbolizes the future of Germany as a business location,” emphasized Lutz Meyer, partner and head of the medium-sized company program at Deloitte.

Traumann explained that the wide product portfolio, from individual machines for the trade to automated production lines, which is consistently geared to market and customer needs, is a key success factor. This included solutions for a wide range of applications – from food processing and packaging to solutions for medical products and industrial goods. In addition, the success of MULTIVAC is due to the international nature of the company. Thanks to the 87 subsidiaries all over the world, MULTIVAC can not only guarantee greater customer proximity and shorter delivery times in the individual regions, but also offset economic risks in individual regions with opportunities in other regions. Last but not least, the large vertical range of manufacture also contributes to the business success, summarized Traumann.
