MULTIVAC sells majority stake in Trimaster Oy

Effective November 1, 2020, the majority of the MULTIVAC company Trimaster Oy, based in Tampere, Finland, was sold as a management buy-out under the direction of Leo Johansson. For automation and line projects, the MULTIVAC subsidiaries will continue to work with Trimaster and offer customers appropriate solutions.

"We decided to sell because we are convinced that Trimaster with a more local focus and without the constraints of a large organization has better market opportunities," explains Christian Traumann, Managing Director of MULTIVAC.

Kimmo Vesterinen, Plant Manager at Trimaster, will move to MULTIVAC Finland in the course of the sale, initially as deputy to Managing Director Esa Harju and after his retirement, he will take over the management of MULTIVAC Finland. He will also support the MULTIVAC Food, Medical & Consumer Solutions (FMCS) division and the subsidiaries in their collaboration with Trimaster. Last but not least, as a board member, he will represent MULTIVAC's interests at Trimaster.

Trimaster delivers turnkey solutions for customers with more than 20 years of experience in material handling. Typical applications are order picking, packaging and palletizing solutions as well as conveyor systems for product transport.
