Handtmann Group takes over Dutch mechanical engineering and trading partner Verbufa. Verbufa is an international company based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. The company was founded in 1952 and employs around 40 people. Verbufa develops, supplies and implements machine solutions for the food processing industry and, as a trading house, sells machines and systems from market-leading machine manufacturers in the food processing industry. Verbufa has been the exclusive Handtmann sales partner in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg for more than 55 years.
Handtmann Maschinenfabrik develops and produces filling and portioning technology as well as digital solutions for the production of food. The contract for the takeover of Verbufa was concluded on April 01.04.2021st, XNUMX and generates advantages for both partners. As a long-standing partner, Verbufa brings excellent industry knowledge and experience in the development of tailor-made customer solutions.” In addition to direct market cultivation in the top sales markets of the Netherlands and Belgium, the merger of the two companies above all generates a high level of innovative strength for process-oriented concepts and solutions in the areas of moulding, dosing , co-extrusion and process automation. This allows customer requirements to be implemented quickly and in a targeted manner. "I'm sure that the comprehensive networking of our development and engineering expertise and the shared knowledge of the market will bring great added value for our customers all over the world," says Mark Marrink, who, as the previous owner of Verbufa, is responsible for the operational management of the new Handtmann subsidiary will exercise.
