Burger King® is consolidating its pioneering role in the plant-based range with The Vegetarian Butcher (TM)

- Only in the Plant-based campaign week from June 7th to June 11th 2021: Free plant-based products throughout Germany via coupons in the MyBK® app in participating restaurants and while stocks last.  

100% taste. 0% meat: With the world's first and only Burger King® plant-based restaurant, the successful collaboration with The Vegetarian Butcher (TM) is being further expanded. In addition to the Plant-based Whopper® **, the Plant-based Nuggets *** and the Plant-based Nugget Burger **, new plant-based products will be presented and tested in Cologne. The joint promise of Burger King® and The Vegetarian Butcher (TM): If you opt for a plant-based meat alternative, you don't have to compromise on taste. All interested parties can see it for themselves exclusively from June 7th to 11th in the specially designed plant-based restaurant in Schildergasse 114 in Cologne - of course, in compliance with the Corona-compliant hygiene rules. In addition, during the same period, coupons for free plant-based products are available through the MyBK® app in participating restaurants throughout Germany and while stocks last.

The partnership between Burger King® and The Vegetarian Butcher (TM) was extremely successful from the start: Within just one year of the introduction of the Plant-based Whopper® **, Burger King® 2020 became the first fast-food hamburger chain in Germany Plant-based nuggets were offered - most recently the Plant-based Nugget Burger *** followed. The continuous expansion of the plant-based range is proof that the two companies meet the tastes of guests who want to reduce their meat consumption and are looking for tasty alternatives. The two companies play a pioneering role in this. Accordingly, the general demand is also high: already every fifth Whopper® ** sold in Germany is with a plant-based patty!

In cooperation with The Vegetarian Butcher (TM), the world's first and only Plant-based Burger King® restaurant will open in Cologne from June 7th to 11th, 2021.
