Tönnies welcomes new trainees in Weißenfels

A new year of apprenticeship has started at the Weißenfels location. A total of ten trainees were welcomed when they started their training at the Tönnies food company in Weißenfels: “Welcome to the Tönnies team. We look forward to welcoming you here! ”, Georg Stülb, managing director of Tönnies Zerlegebetrieb GmbH in Weißenfels, welcomed the newcomers together with managing director Reinhold Dierkes and the trainers.

“I wish you a good start in your new professional life. Be curious, ask questions and help each other - together we will bring the Tönnies team forward, ”said Stülb to the new colleagues.

Over the next two and a half to three and a half years, the ten trainees will be trained as mechatronics technicians, warehouse logistics specialists, machine and system operators, automotive mechatronics technicians, food technology specialists and wholesale and foreign trade merchants.

The family company currently employs 2.200 people at the Weißenfels site. It is the second largest location in Tönnies and has been part of the group of companies since 1990. The promotion of young talent and training is particularly important to the company. That is why it regularly trains young, motivated people in various professions to become committed specialists.

Tönnies in Weißenfels is still looking for interested junior colleagues for the apprenticeships for food technology and butchers. Spontaneous people can get in until October 15th. Anyone who would like to find out more about the possibilities and the various professions at Tönnies and get to know the trainers can come to the START NOW training fair on Saturday, September 18, from 10.00 a.m. to 16.00 p.m. The fair will take place in the premises of the Mitteldeutsche Zeitung media group at Delitzscher Strasse 65 in Halle. Admission is free.
