Gilde-Stiftung - award ceremony Fit for apprentices 2018

Frankfurt. - In 2018, the "Fit for Trainees" competition was again announced by the GILDE Foundation of ZENTRAG eG for the best ideas and campaigns on the subject of "training in the butcher's trade". Companies, guilds or technical schools with their own initiatives for recruiting and promoting young talent could apply. As part of the 128th German Butchers' Association Day in Hamburg, the winners of the renowned competition were honored. ZEN-TRAG board member Anton Wahl handed over the certificates and prizes, each worth 2000 euros, to the three exemplary winners: Butcher's cans Bach, Bad Bellingen; Butchers Guild Diepholz/Nienburg and butcher Moser, Landsberg am Lech.

Here are the portraits of the honorees:
Even if the in-house trainee speed dating was not a direct success as an individual campaign for the Metzgerei Flaschenbach from Bad Bellingen, it still scored with the jury with the overall package of positive employer marketing at all levels. An appreciative corporate culture and personal support for the trainees during the training period are the supporting pillars. By presenting its own company in the region and in the immediate vicinity as an “attractive employer” with an affinity for young people, the canned butcher’s shop was able to convince three new apprentices who can now look forward to a committed training company. Of course, the campaigns in terms of recruiting young people are also accompanied on the company's own Facebook page. Finally, in the case of Hosenbach, it is “addressing young people where they are active in their free time”.

The butchers' guild Diepholz / Nienburg was also active where young people are active. No, this time not on Facebook, but as part of the "Craftsman's Olympics" of the district youth fire brigade tent camp. As part of the craft olympiad, the young people had to complete tasks from the individual trades in order to successfully complete the olympiad. The Diepholz / Nienburg butchers' guild presented itself with its own stand, where the young people could set themselves butchery tasks. This was an ideal positioning of the training topic in the attractive action environment of the youth fire brigade camp. A perfect image advertising for the trade - directly on site and in the leisure time of the future trainees.

The trainees at the Moser butcher shop are really motivated: As part of the “Trainee branch” campaign, everyone in the trainee team is given responsibility and carries it out with enthusiasm. The young people's motivation is also reflected in the butcher's own trainee video, which can be found on their website, among other places. Combined with a "cool" appearance by the Moser team as "the die-hards", you will find employer marketing par excellence here - and young people who complete their training with enthusiasm, find their role in the team and thus contribute to the positive image of the training company. The active public relations work of boss Michael Moser completes the trainee advertising of the butcher's shop.
