New management at VAN HEES

On March 31, 2017, the previous CEO of VAN HEES (Walluf), Jürgen Georg Hüniken, left the operational management of the company after 23 years of extraordinarily successful work. He will be replaced by two managing directors who have both been with the company for years: Robert Becht and Frédérick Guet. "In an environment of constantly changing markets and increasingly fierce competition, VAN HEES should be even better equipped for the future with the new dual leadership", says Robert Becht, who is also the spokesman for the management. The new managing directors divide the responsibilities as follows: Robert Becht takes over purchasing, product development, quality assurance, marketing and sales. Frédérick Guet heads the Finance, Controlling, Human Resources, Production and IT departments. Jürgen Georg Hüniken will stay with the company for another two years, during which he will be entrusted with special tasks.

Robert Becht is a trained butcher and state-certified meat technician. Born in Wiesbaden, he studied Marketing Management at the European Business School in Rheingau and is currently studying on the job as an International Executive MBA in Switzerland Product developer for Woolworths Ltd in Australia. Becht joined VAN HEES in November 1997, where he has held various positions ever since. Among other things, he founded the areas of international product management and CRM management, both of which he headed for several years. He has been a member of the management team since January 2013.

Frédérick Guet has also already set clear accents at Van Hees. Born in France, he worked as a manager for finance, purchasing, logistics, process optimization and strategy investment in large international companies such as Dow Chemical, Arcelor Mittal and Kimberley Clark. In January 2013 he became Managing Director of VAN HEES for France and Russia and thus responsible for the entire operational business of these segments in the VAN HEES Group.

VAN HEES sets standards
VAN HEES since 70 years sets standards in the development and production of high quality additives, spices and condiments, convenience foods and flavors for the meat industry, which are used and equally in the craft and industry appreciated.

Kurt van Hees recognizes the benefits of food phosphates in meat processing in the 40er years. As a pioneer in this field, he founded the 1947 VAN HEES GmbH and developed many renowned and patented quality additives.
