Elmerhaus manages live cattle purchasing
Rheda-Wiedenbrück July 26, 2018 - The Tönnies group of companies is strengthening its connection to agriculture and expanding the management of live cattle purchasing. From August 1, 2018, Dr. Robert Elmerhaus bought live cattle for the pig division within the group of companies.
The doctor of business administration has been working in the Tönnies group of companies since 2010. Initially as an assistant to the management of the meat division, Elmerhaus worked in various areas of the division. The focus of his work at Tönnies has so far been on conceptual projects to increase transparency, security and sustainability in the supply chain. In his part-time doctorate, Elmerhaus dealt with the influence of new media channels on customer relationship management and its effect on corporate success.
Dr. Robert Elmerhaus, born 1985, grew up in agriculture and comes from Lippetal in North Rhine-Westphalia.
