The butcher trade loses an important personality and its honorary president. The industry mourns Heinz-Werner Süss, who died the day before yesterday at the age of 72 after a long illness. The master butcher and butcher shop operator was a strong leader, he was most recently president of the German Butchers' Association, also engaged as mayor of his home town and chief master of his butchers' guild and state guild master of the Rhineland-Palatinate butchers' association. Heinz-Wener Süss leaves behind a wife, two daughters and a granddaughter who run his butcher shop in Weisenheim.
