evenord celebrates its 50th birthday
On October 13th and 14th, 2018, the 50th evenord, innovation fair for butchery and gastronomy, will take place in the Exhibition Center Nuremberg under the motto Innovation. You can't predict the future, you can plan. This is exactly what evenord has proven over the past 50 years. As usual, butchers and restaurateurs will find a wide range of food and butcher supplies, attractive work clothing and decoration as well as optimal shop organization and equipment on these days. But even after 50 years it is by no means boring, because this year, which is fully dedicated to the new central warehouse of Evenord eG, again offers many current trends that visitors can discover. This year it brings together around 165 exhibitors and around 5.500 visitors from southern Germany.
On the second weekend in October, evenord, as usual, invites butchers as well as trade visitors from gastronomy and mass catering to Hall 12 of the Exhibition Center Nuremberg. Visitors can look forward to comprehensive information and a stimulating exchange in the areas of refrigeration equipment and vehicles, butchery machines and devices, boiler, smoke and air conditioning systems, service, shopfitting, packaging, workwear, cleaning and disinfection as well as marketing and consulting services.

"The perfect mix of 50 years of experience and the latest innovations from the industry - that's what makes evenord special. Of course, proven formats that are popular with visitors should not be missing from the anniversary edition, nor should the latest trends,” says Thomas Preutenborbeck, Head of Events.
Family meeting place in a cozy atmosphere
Of course, the particularly cozy beer garden, which creates the usual relaxed, convivial atmosphere, should not be missing this year either. Thanks to the transparent production facility, where classics such as white sausages and meat loaf are made on site, your physical well-being is taken care of. The evenord also lives up to its reputation as a family meeting place: the little fair guests can let off steam in the popular child care center with a giant slide. The Evenord eG board members Horst Schneider, Ralf Kettlitz and Karlheinz Lorenz and their staff are looking forward to numerous discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.
The right presentation is half the battle
Even the smallest, most inconspicuous sales room can shine in new splendor with the right decoration: The highlights again this year include the large evenord decoration area, which offers inspiration for the appealing presentation of meat, sausage and cheese products. The time of the trade fair in October is perfect for stocking up for the big Christmas business.
Looking back on 50 years of experience
It all started 50 years ago with around 40 exhibitors as the Evenord goods exchange in what was then the exhibition halls on Berliner Platz. Evenord has been held at the NürnbergMesse exhibition center since 1975. The much better space conditions allowed a significant increase in the presentation areas and thus a significant increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors. Around 2018 exhibitors and around 165 visitors are expected in 5.500.
