100 years of the FLEIGA butchers' cooperative

Schwäbisch Gmuend. – How can you communicate the unmistakable range of services of the German butcher trade, its basic values and its modernity in a versatile, informative and entertaining way in the local environment? The butchers' cooperative FLEIGA Ostwuerttemberg eG, headquartered in Schwäbisch Gmünd, found a whole series of answers, campaigns and programs to this elementary question as part of its celebrations for its 100th anniversary. In addition to the classic anniversary ceremony, the FLEIGA company premises in the Benzfeld industrial park were transformed into a varied information and live stage on the topic of meat & co. for one Sunday for the "Open Day". Including a pleasure and tasting mile in close cooperation with local butchers, a World Cup talk with well-known VFB Stuttgart personalities, with a "white sausage breakfast", many children's attractions and last but not least with a live show by the "German butcher's national team". . Organized in a compact and concerted manner - above all in cooperation with the East Württemberg Butchers' Guild and the Central Cooperative of the European Butchers' Trade (ZENTRAG eG).

According to the full-time FLEIGA board, the concept is specific and complex Dieter Vogel, fully developed: "We didn't want to stage a usual advertising event, but to put an overall show on the stage with a strong theme - here above all in the subject area of proven craftsmanship and professional competence. This in a traditional way, but also in contemporary, modern forms, offers and innovations. In addition to the large amount of factual information, tips and recipes, the main focus was on a live experience for all the senses, on enjoyment, healthy nutritional awareness, variety of craftsmanship and the responsible use of food, especially the topic of meat and the like. concerning.” Accordingly, the FLEIGA team and the numerous supporters were pleased about the great response from customers, consumers and citizens, who enjoyed using the special Sunday excursion to FLEIGA. Dieter Vogel sums it up: "It was a complete success, because with this open form of infotainment we were able to make the numerous facets and strengths of the butcher's trade clear - as a central aspect of image work and above all as a lasting plus in customer loyalty".
