Action #proud of my job finds many supporters
The #proud of my job campaign initiated by the national team of the butcher trade is widely shared on social networks. Hundreds of Facebook and Instagram users took part in the photo challenge and posted pictures online with the hashtag #proud of my job.
DFV Vice President Nora Seitz, who launched the campaign together with the national butchers' team, is extremely satisfied with the way things have gone so far: "Everyone in the national butchers' team is almost bursting with happiness and pride that so many of our colleagues involved and carry the message further into the world. We are grateful for the broad support and are happy about the great team spirit in our industry, which, as we have now seen, also exists on the Internet.”
The campaign, in which those involved want to set an example for more respect and appreciation for the training occupations in the butcher's trade, began as a spontaneous reaction to the comments of a supermarket customer about the saleswomen behind the meat counter, which the store manager published on social networks. In many publications, pride in the profession or the company to which the people belong is therefore in the foreground, and it is not uncommon for products, but also final certificates, journeyman or master craftsman certificates, to appear in the picture. Likewise, references to the long-standing existence of the family business or the length of service.
It is often trainees and employees who are particularly active on the Internet and want to represent their company on the Internet. But also many young professionals and executives, for example from the Junior Association of the German Butchers' Trade or the Butchers' Association - We are different support #proudofmyprofession. Support is also provided by the German Butchers' Association. Attempts are being made there to collect as many publications as possible and summarize them on the Facebook pages of the national team and training in the butcher's trade.
