Trade fair ISS GUT! starts on Sunday in Leipzig

Next Sunday (November 5, 2017) the ISS GUT! opened their doors at the Leipzig exhibition center. The focus of the three-day trade fair for the hospitality industry and the food trade is the out-of-home market with all its facets. In addition to gastronomy, hotels and communal catering, bakers and butchers who offer snacks in their shops are also particularly addressed. Over 200 exhibitors present innovative technology and equipment, food and beverages and services for the industry at the fair.
 
Among the highlights of the ISS GUT! include the "Marketplace for Regional Products", the symposium on daycare and school catering, the "Experience Snacks" forum and the "Hot Spot for trendy drinks". The special show “Tafel Gut!” presents high-quality dining culture from Central German manufactories, which is accompanied by cooking shows with young wild people from the region. Under the motto "Stage of Taste - Food meets Design", Martin Rául Hofmann from Haus Vergissmeinnicht in Oberhof, the "professional at the stove" Heiko Arndt from Leipzig and Robin Pietsch from the living room restaurant "ZeitWerk" in Wernigerode - listeners of MDR Sachsen -Anhalt known for its Friday "Kitchen Radio" - for culinary surprises.
 
The "First Central German Bratwurst Cup" on Monday is about the most successful bratwurst creation. Radio PSR presenter Steffen Lukas, among others, decides on the winner here. Established and prospective professionals in the meat industry compete for certificates and medals in professional competitions.
The performance of Food-Artistic eV, whose members demonstrate the extraordinary art of fruit and vegetable carving, promises spectacular activities. There are also demonstrations of cheese carving: decorative portraits and figures are created from a loaf of Parmesan. The "Cheese Art" will be shown for the first time in Leipzig.
The DEHOGA area of ​​the ISS GUT offers information, further training and campaigns! at. For the first time, the four DEHOGA state associations in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia and Brandenburg are organizing a joint presentation. On the central stage there are lectures on current topics in the industry. The "Top Tafel Idea" competition and the "Volle Kanne Zukunft" trainee forum are also located in this area.

Opening hours and entrance fees
The EAT WELL! will be held from November 5th to 7th, 2017 at the Leipzig Exhibition Center. It is open daily from 10.00 a.m. to 18.00 p.m. The day ticket costs 17,50 euros (online 13,50 euros, order at www.iss-gut-leipzig.de/ticket) and the season ticket 26,00 euros. On the day of your visit, the tickets entitle you to a one-time free return journey to/from the exhibition center using local public transport (tariff zones 110, 151, 156, 162, 163, 168, 210, 225).
