With spicy and functional concepts for meat alternatives, RAPS also proves that renouncing meat in no way means renouncing enjoyment. In addition to products based on soy or wheat, new creations with pea protein are also used. With the help of the numerous recipe ideas, food producers can address a large target group and create products that convince with their typical bite and a pleasant mouthfeel as well as with the best taste of the RAPS spice mixes.

The diverse application options include vegan versions of grill classics such as burger patties, coarse and fine sausages, meatballs (also with creamy fillings such as jalapeno cheese sauce), grill skewers or cevapcici. In terms of their sensory properties, the products are very similar to the originals, which also appeals to "die-hard" grill fans. The firmness and texture can be adjusted product-specifically in the production process. All recipes are easy to implement with standard meat processing equipment and, thanks to the excellent freezing and thawing stability, frozen products are also possible.

The wishes of consumers have become more individual and diverse; these changed needs must also be reflected on the supermarket shelves. "With the new vegan recipes we want to make barbecuing enjoyment possible for everyone and rely on the versatile pea as a basis," says Josefine Schneider, Product Manager at RAPS. “In addition, we pay attention to short lists of ingredients and a nutritionally valuable composition. This is of course also reflected in the labeling - so we have been able to develop many recipes with Nutri Score A or B. "

In addition to the grill range, RAPS offers other vegan and vegetarian product concepts, for example for Viennese, Lyoner, schnitzel, vegetable and fresh spreads, fish fingers, meat and tuna salads. Thanks to the manufacturer's extensive portfolio, the products can also be further individualized and refined with suitable seasonings, marinades or dipping sauces.
