Inspection solution from Multivac
With the I 410, MULTIVAC Marking & Inspection offers an automatic and therefore precise, fast and permanently reliable inspection solution. Thanks to high-resolution, height-adjustable line scan cameras and powerful image processing, this ensures reliable quality and labeling control from above and below. The space-saving inspection system can be used flexibly as a stand-alone solution after a packaging machine or integrated seamlessly into a line.
The possible uses of the I 410 range from checking the completeness of the pack to checking the presence and position of the label and checking the imprint – including pattern and text recognition, text checking, legibility and code checking. The advanced image acquisition technology makes it possible for meaningful images to be transmitted and verified in high resolution even at high speeds in the packaging process.
For use in the food industry, the I 410 features the MULTIVAC Hygienic Design and is equipped with a separate conveyor belt. The packs can either be taken over by an upstream transport device or fed in manually. Since a motorized ejection device ensures that faulty packs are reliably ejected, no compressed air is required for operation.
The system is operated easily and safely via the MULTIVAC HMI 2.0. In lines, control is carried out centrally via the packaging machine's operating terminal, whereby all processes can be controlled intuitively on the 12-inch LCD touchscreen. The MULTIVAC Line Control ensures efficient line integration and enables quick product changes by storing the respective setting parameters in the recipe. In addition, test results are transmitted to the MULTIVAC section control so that packs that are identified as incorrect can be tracked and then reliably ejected. This ensures that only flawless packaging can be sold.
“Due to the modular design, users have a high degree of flexibility with regard to the use of different ejection options or optical inspection modules such as cameras, barcode readers or sensors.
