JBT - well prepared for the future

At the international trade fair IFFA 2019 in Frankfurt, JBT presented intelligent and innovative solutions for the entire food processing chain, which create added value through higher yield, flexibility, automation, high hygiene, food safety, clean labeling and consistent end product quality. Working with clients, JBT redefines tomorrow's food processing landscape with innovative solutions that set the standard for the growing expectations, needs and demands of the food industry.

Higher capacity with smaller footprint
The world-famous Frigoscandia® freezer system continues to be JBT's flagship brand and the latest model, the GYRoCOMPACT® 40 spiral freezer, was unveiled at IFFA. The latest spiral freezer is a more compact version with even more hygiene advantages, a new freezer technology and the highest capacity of all comparable spiral freezers.

Added value for our customers
At the IFFA 2019, JBT had the pleasure of demonstrating the capabilities of the DSI® 800 series of water jet dispensing systems. The DSI Portioner is an automated portioning and cutting solution that has been proven to consistently improve product yield and productivity. The scoop has been designed for high-volume portions and is used as a precision machine for high-precision intensive cuts.

The Company TIPPER TIE Invited the visitors to be present at live demonstrations of his impressive clip and packaging solutions. One of the highlights was the world premiere of the new High speed double clippers SVU6800which was developed for large products such as ham, big meat sticks and whole muscle pieces. Thanks to the strong displacer, the Clipper delivers consistent lengths, even at sensitive envelopes.
The JBT pickling specialist Schröder presented the full range of state-of-the-art meat injection and marinating equipment designed to meet the needs of today's consumers: hygienic design, easier handling and lower pickle bag usage.

In the trend: high-pressure processing (HDV)
The JBT company Avure presented its convincing High-pressure processing technology (HDV). With more than 60 years of experience and expertise in HDV science and manufacturing, Avure is a specialist in HDV systems for the food and beverage processing industry and developer of the fastest, most reliable systems in the industry. Avure supports manufacturers in implementing HDV from recipe development and process validation to installation, regulatory issues and post-installation support. 
Other products on display from the JBT portfolio were the Formcook® 618 contact frying line, which ensures that the products are efficiently sealed and cooked, and the XVision ™ CCPX ™ Pack ™, an industry-leading technology for X-ray inspection systems for the detection of contamination in self-service products, Ready meals and ready-to-eat products that are making their European debut.

JBT offers tailor-made solutions for the production of food processors at every stage of the process, including portioning, injection, marinating, coating, frying, cooking, freezing, chilling and cooking, inspection, clipping and packaging, and high pressure processing to ensure the desired end product.
