Two Vion Food locations are to switch to Tönnies
The Tönnies group of companies is taking over two locations of the Vion Food Group. Subject to antitrust review, the Altenburg cattle site and the ham processing company Ahlener Fleischhandel are to be transferred to the corporate group. The plan is to continue operating both businesses as before. As in the past, the operation in Ahlen will continue to be completely independent and self-sufficient under the leadership of managing partner Frank Böckenkötter. With Altenburg, the group is also strengthening its beef expertise.
