Flensburg University of Applied Sciences appoints QA managers of the zur Mühlen Group
Böklund, February 27, 2018 - The head of quality at the zur Mühlen Group, Dr. Andreas Nicolai, will be appointed professor for food product technology at the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences in Faculty II - Energy and Biotechnology with a major in food technology on April 1, 2018. The focus of work at the university will be on the technologies of animal and plant foods as well as food microbiology, hygiene and law.
Dr. Nicolai was head of quality management at the zur Mühlen Group for 10 years and was responsible, among other things, for the areas of quality management, quality assurance and the laboratory management of the zur Mühlen Group's central laboratory. We thank Dr. Nicolai for the work he has done and we wish him all the best for his professional and private future.
The new head of quality management is Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Reimerdes. As a specialist in food technology, Reimerdes was responsible for quality management at coop and Kaufland for many years. The 52-year-old strengthens the team around the QM head of the entire group, Dr. Gereon Schulze Althoff and the QM heads of the divisions, Dirk Moormann (Meat) and Michael Franz (Convenience).
