Doris Leuthard nominated for the Board of Directors of the Bell Food Group

The Board of Directors of the Bell Food Group has nominated Doris Leuthard as a new member of the Board of Directors. She will be proposed for election at the Annual General Meeting on April 16, 2019 as a replacement for the current Board member Reto Conrad.

With Doris Leuthard, the Board of Directors of the Bell Food Group is gaining an experienced personality with a good national and international network. "I am proud that in Doris Leuthard we have been able to recruit a distinguished and highly competent Swiss personality to stand for the Bell Food Group Board of Directors," says Hansueli Loosli, Chairman of the Bell Food Group Board of Directors.

Doris Leuthard (55) was a national councilor from 1999 to 2006 and party president of the CVP Switzerland from 2004 to 2006. From August 1, 2006 to December 31, 2018 she was a member of the Federal Council. She has headed the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC) since 2010. From 2006 to 2010 she was head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs (FDEA). In 2009 and 2016 she was Vice-President of the Federal Council and in 2010 and 2017 Federal President.
