Paul-Heinz and Erich Wesjohann jointly receive the Entrepreneur Award of the Oldenburger Münsterland

Paul-Heinz Wesjohann and his brother Erich Wesjohann have been awarded this year's Entrepreneur's Prize by the Oldenburger Münsterland Association. In front of 350 guests at the University of Vechta, Eugen Block, owner of the Blockhouse chain, paid tribute to the entrepreneurial lifework of Paul-Heinz and Erich Wesjohann. In his laudatory speech, Block emphasized the sense of responsibility as an entrepreneur and the social commitment of the award winners. According to Block, both Wesjohanns have in common a “distinct down-to-earth attitude, a value-conservative, Christian attitude and their ties to their homeland”. Although traveling all over the world, they always felt at home in this region.

More than 10 employees work in today's companies (PHW Group and EW Group), which have been managed separately for 1998 years after the real division of the Lohmann-Wesjohann Group and which emerged in 1932 from the company founded by father Paul Wesjohann in 4.700.
