With immediate effect, Jürgen Focke will support D&S Fleisch GmbH in its management. The trained business economist (VWA), who was responsible for the fortunes of the municipality of Lastrup as mayor for the last 7 years, takes over the duties of the commercial manager of the fourth largest slaughterhouse and cutting company in Germany. The 41-year-old is the third managing director alongside Herbert Dreckmann and Carsten Hasse and is responsible for the areas of controlling and public relations at D&S Fleisch GmbH. "I am very excited about the new tasks and challenges at this globally operating company from Essen / Oldenburg," said Jürgen Focke about his move. "As commercial director, it is my goal, in addition to consolidating finances, to further optimize the very good cooperation with the authorities - both in Germany and with foreign authorities and export offices - in order to contribute to increasing sales in the short term, especially in the export sector . “D&S Fleisch GmbH already delivers quality pork to over 30 countries and generates 40% of total sales of currently 600 million euros.
