dr Tim Schäfer is the new Marketing Manager for EBLEX

As of April 1st, EBLEX (ENGLISH BEEF AND LAMB EXPORT) has a new Marketing Manager for the German, Austrian and Swiss markets. In this role, Dr. Tim Schäfer is responsible for the marketing and communication of English lamb and beef. He benefits from his extensive experience as a product manager for the meat sector at the CMA (Central Marketing Society of German Agriculture). Germany, Austria and Switzerland are important European export countries for quality meat from England. In Germany, fresh English lamb is already in third place in the export ranking. "Our goal is to make the special freshness and quality of English lamb and beef known to purchasing decision-makers and chefs and, of course, to increase sales in the DACH region," says Dr. Tim Schaefer.  

The special EBLEX Quality Standard

EBLEX is responsible for the marketing and distribution of fresh English lamb and beef. The EBLEX Quality Standard seal of approval guarantees maximum safety when consuming meat. The EBLEX label is the only one in the UK to include an 'eating quality' component. This ensures that the meat has a uniformly high consumption quality: it is tender, juicy and aromatic - a special treat. Lamb and beef from England is available in Germany within 48 hours of slaughter.
