New sales manager at GILDE foodservice GmbH

Thomas Weißinger intensifies the nationwide network for supplying customers from the GV area

Thomas Weißinger (35) has been the new sales manager at GILDE foodservice GmbH (GFS), a subsidiary of ZENTRAG, the central cooperative of the European butchers' trade, since February 1, 2013. Thomas Weißinger was previously Sales Manager South at Sander Gourmet, having previously worked as a branch manager at bofrost and as a district manager at REWE.

After training as a retail salesman with a focus on butchery at Feneberg Lebensmittel GmbH and successful years as a butchery and branch manager, Thomas Weißinger completed a degree in business administration in Mannheim. As a business economist, his main focus at GILDE foodservice, but also at ZENTRAG itself, is on expanding the customer spectrum.

The GFS is active nationwide and across cooperatives with the participation of around 33 business organizations. Its core objective is to optimally serve supra-regional and national customers from the GV area via a nationwide network. As a full-range supplier, GFS offers goods from the areas of meat/poultry, food, dairy products, sausages, delicatessen, fats/oils, preserves, consumer goods, machines, equipment and packaging.

Customers of GILDE foodservice are: trade customers, hotel and gastronomy customers, caterers, company catering, trade gastronomy, traffic gastronomy, clinics, clinic purchasing companies, campus gastronomy, army and butcher shop chains.
