interpack 2020 fully booked
Interpack 2020 is fully booked, so that from May 07th to 13th, 2020 around 3.000 exhibitors from around 60 countries will be showing their solutions at the most important international event for the packaging and related process industries. The parallel event for the supplier industry, "components - special trade fair by interpack" in Hall 18 is also fully booked.
Unique offer
For an overview of the unique offer and the participating companies, interested parties can now click www.interpack.de used the “Exhibitors and Products” section. A quick start is possible via the eight target group icons under "Industry search": One click lists all exhibitors who have offers for the relevant industry in their portfolio. Through various selection options, future visitors can further refine the results and save them in a personal account using the MyOrganizer function. Individual exhibitors can be marked as favorites and provided with notes - including synchronization with the interpack app, which is available for iOS and Android. The function also offers a personalized hall plan that facilitates orientation in the 18 exhibition halls.
Optimized hall structure
This is also due to the optimized structure of interpack, which now focuses on user industries such as the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry (halls 15-17) or sub-segments of the industry such as packaging materials, packaging materials and their production (halls around the north entrance). In order to simplify orientation within the clusters, the exhibitors have also been structured more clearly there. Offers for certain process steps are now in close proximity.
New conference: “Life without Packaging?”
The topic of sustainability - which has been shaping the industry for years - has recently experienced a new dynamic due to the discussion about plastic packaging in particular. The new conference "Life without Packaging?" Illuminates the subject areas of packaging, sustainability and the environment in a controversial manner and from different perspectives. Critics as well as advocates have their say and discuss what is avoidable and what is necessary. The main focus is on sustainability and environmental impacts, reducing food waste and hygiene. The one-day conference will take place on May 12th, the penultimate day of the fair, from 10:30 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. in the CCD Süd. Participation costs 299 euros. SAVE FOOD Festival
From May 08th to 10th, the SAVE FOOD Festival will take place in the Rheinterrassen in a central location in Düsseldorf. It consists of the core elements of interactive exhibition, conference and startup presence. The startups take part as part of the Startup Week Düsseldorf, an event that consists of around 130 events, workshops and pitches that take place in several locations in Düsseldorf. A shuttle will be set up between the exhibition grounds and the Rheinterrassen. The SAVE FOOD festival is also open to interested citizens.
Matchmaking with artificial intelligence
A highlight of the new digital offers for efficient organization of the trade fair visit is the completely revised matchmaking, which future interpack visitors and exhibitors can use from mid-November. It enables appointments to be made in advance of the trade fair. The system learns from the interaction with the user over time and suggests potential conversation partners. These can also be assessed positively or negatively by swiping via the app - similar to a well-known digital contact exchange. The decisions keep improving the suggestions.
Visitor's Guide pre-show
A successful visit to the trade fair also generally needs to be well prepared. The interpack 2020 Visitor's Guide Pre-Show will help. It shows the complete hall plan with all exhibitors and also gives tips on what visitors should pay attention to in the run-up to interpack. It is distributed in printed form via mailings and is enclosed in specialist journals. The digital version is linked at www.interpack.de.
