Anuga FoodTec: Highlights of the congress and event program

At a time when sustainable innovation is needed more urgently than ever before, Anuga FoodTec 2024 aims to set new standards. Under the guiding theme of "Responsibility", the world's leading trade fair for suppliers to the food and beverage industry will become a global meeting place for visionaries, doers, innovators and industry leaders. Together they are setting the course for a more sustainable future.  

Matthias Schlüter, Director of Anuga FoodTec: “This commitment is reflected in the extensive event program, in which participants gain insights into the latest technologies, the latest scientific insights, innovative solutions and future-oriented strategies.” By introducing new exhibition areas such as environmental technology and energy The cross-sector reach of the trade fair will be further expanded, with a particular focus on the key theme of “responsibility”. 

The specialist program designed by the DLG (German Agricultural Society) takes up the topic with fresh, dynamic approaches. “Through participatory formats such as “Bar Camp” or “Open Expert Stage”, these diverse events invite cross-industry dialogue and offer extensive opportunities for interaction,” says Simone Schiller, Managing Director of the DLG.   
The participants can actively engage in exchange and benefit directly from the extensive knowledge of the experts, says Schlüter.
