The new QUPAQ FlexLoader meets the demands for higher performance and more flexibility in the meat packaging industry

With a newly developed solution for loading products into trays, QUPAQ meets an urgent need for flexibility, speed and capacity for customers in the meatpacking industry. The new QUPAQ Flex Loader loads up to 300 products per minute and at the same time offers a smooth change of tray types as well as the type and quantity of the respective products.

This combines all the functions of the previous models in terms of customization options and speed. The product will be presented at Anuga FoodTec 2024 in Cologne, Germany, on March 19th.

The QUPAQ Flex Loader features a combination of high-speed performance and modular flexibility, allowing for instant customization of different tray and product types on the same product line. Key innovations and capacity maximizations include the elimination of gaps between trays. Creating a vacuum enables particularly precise tray loading. The result is faster and more controlled handling and positioning of the trays.

The innovative technology not only improves productivity in the meatpacking and food industries, but also supports the transition to more responsive and flexible production methods. The QUPAQ Flex Loader demonstrates its versatility by switching between different tray types (sizes, materials and shapes) and product types (e.g. minced meat or cold cuts) in less than a minute and without mechanical switching. Additionally, the modular design allows for compact inline installation that can be adapted to any product line.

“This novel mechanical concept is completely different from current systems. If you want to switch from one tray type to another, with our QUPAQ Flex Loader you simply adjust the belts at the loading point instead of making mechanical changes,” says Carsten Trudslev, product manager at QUPAQ.

Innovation built on customer needs and market trends
Capacity is critical in the meat packing industry as seasonal fluctuations in meat products require flexibility and high packaging capacity.

An international food company faced with the task of loading up to 300 portions of sliced ​​meat per minute - a requirement that could not be met by any other tray loading system available - turned to QUPAQ.
