A study by the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT from 2019 confirms the positive environmental aspect: According to this, clip closure solutions for packaging sausages produce up to 81 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions than thermoformed packaging and 64 percent less than an injection molded cup. The robust, user-friendly FCA 80 double clipping machine makes it easy to get started with automatic clipping. It reliably closes collagen casings up to 80 mm, fibrous casings up to 100 mm or plastic casings up to a caliber of 160 mm and achieves up to 125 cycles/minute. The highly flexible double clipper, which offers four different spreads, is easy to use. The integrated linear displacement device ensures visually perfect products, with which symmetrical sausage ends with an even pleat are produced. The fully automatic, energy-saving machine FCA 80 of the new “Green Series”, like various other models from the Poly-clip System portfolio, can be equipped with the new jumbo spool for more sustainable use of consumables: with up to 50 percent more clips fewer changes are necessary on just one coil. This ensures more efficient processes, fewer machine downtimes – and the bottom line is that there is a reduced amount of waste.

The SCD 700 clipping machine makes the semi-automatic closing of various types of cut-off goods not only highly efficient, but even safer. The easy-to-use single clip machine closes plastic and natural casings up to a caliber of 120 mm as well as bags and nets. With a hygienic design upgrade, Poly-clip System now also ensures further optimized food safety: With the help of laser technology, which replaces punching in the machine's manufacturing process, absolutely flat, even easier-to-clean surfaces are achieved, which further improve the hygiene properties.
