Seydelmann sponsors the national butcher's trade team
Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG, based in Stuttgart and Aalen, is the new gold sponsor of the national butchers' team. The fifth-generation family business, which has been manufacturing machines for food processing since 1843, sees this as an important step towards promoting young talent in the butcher trade. This is emphasized by Andreas Seydelmann, managing partner of the company.
The national team of the butcher's trade is a selected group of young butchers and salespeople who have set themselves the task of presenting the butcher's trade and the industry as a whole to the public. The national team was founded three years ago by the German Butchers' Association and currently consists of 25 young people from the butchers' trade.
While the team was still able to actively advertise the industry and the professions at a large number of events in 2019, the young representatives of the two professions in the butcher's trade had to stop almost all activities in 2020 due to the corona, with the exception of a few TV appearances Move social media section. The great value of the team, however, is the personal contact with other people. Therefore, Nora Seitz, Vice President of the German Butchers' Association and founder of the national team, hopes that by summer 2021 at the latest it will be possible again to visit events throughout Germany or abroad.
The sponsors of the national team, brand new now also Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG, help to make these events and appearances possible and thus contribute to the advertising of the butcher's trade. "We are very happy and also proud that we were able to win Seydelmann as a new supporter. That helps us a lot and also motivates the young people,” said Nora Seitz on behalf of the whole team.
