Occupational Safety and Health Control Act: Tönnies welcomes generally binding regulations
The Tönnies Group welcomes the government coalition's agreement on the Occupational Health and Safety Control Act. "The generally binding regulations mean that there is now planning security," says Clemens Tönnies, managing partner of the family business.
“The takeover of the works contract employees has been in full swing since September. The direct recruitment is expected to be completed by the end of 2020. As a result, our houses will grow by more than 6.000 permanent employees in the core areas of production,” explains Tönnies.
The consequences of the regulations on temporary work still have to be examined in detail. "As an employer, we support talks with the collective bargaining partners about a generally binding collective agreement for the industry," adds the company boss.
