DIL and GC "EURODON", Russia, agree on cooperation

After the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL) has been successfully completed from Quakenbrück several development projects for the growing Russian market, now is the next step before: from the international networking of the Research Institute out, the contact with GC "EURODON", the leader of Russia , improvments in turkey to a long-term cooperation. In this it comes to technological problems in the processing of meat products.

The cooperation between the two organizations includes, inter alia, the establishment of a quality management system for the entire range of turkey production and processing of EURODON so as to ensure the safety of products and to optimize in-house processes. In addition, the DIL, the Russian company support in the implementation and use of high-pressure technology. It is envisaged in this regard, to jointly develop a new product line as well as functional packaging for the application of high-pressure process. These measures are supported also by developments of the employees by the DIL.

Prof. Dr. Stefan Töpfl is awarded the Georg Carl Hahn Prize 2009

On November 20, Prof. Dr. Stefan Töpfl was awarded the Hahn Research Prize in Lübeck. He receives the award for the excellent achievements in his doctoral thesis, which deals with the innovative technology of pulsating electrical fields.

The presentation of the 11th international Georg Carl Hahn Research Prize 2009 at GC HAHN & Co. Stabilisierungstechnik GmbH, the manufacturer of food systems for the food industry, was celebratory. This award supports young scientists and technologists who work in the field of food science, technology, biotechnology or nutrition. First awarded in 1988, it honors outstanding scientific achievements that are also related to industrial application. Scientific advisory board for the Max Rubner Institute

10 top-class scientists accompany nutritional research

The constituent meeting of the Scientific Advisory Board took place at the main location in Karlsruhe of the Max Rubner Institute on November 24.11.2009th, XNUMX.
