dr Milan Ristic

He dedicated his most important and also his most extensive work to the quality of broiler meat. The enjoyment of the meat was of particular importance for him, as it is for hardly any other scientist. It is thanks to him that today it is well known how husbandry, feeding, breed, but also processing affect the quality of broiler meat. Its results are widely used for practical conclusions.

His work was always open to new developments; his first work on ecological chicken fattening dates back to the early 90s. Works on rabbit meat, waterfowl and egg quality complete the picture of a scientist who has always observed food production from the point of view of small animal breeding.

dr Ristic goes into a happy retirement filled with diverse interests. Everyone who has accompanied him in his scientific work wishes him all the best.
