Breidenbach, February 27, 2024. Another step towards even greater customer proximity and comprehensive support: On January 01, 2025, Weber Food Technology will establish its own subsidiary in Italy. From 2025 onwards, Weber will take over the direct support of Italian customers from its current sales partner Niederwieser Spa. Weber looks back on a long and trusting collaboration with Niederwieser. The company was responsible for the sales and service of Weber solutions in Italy for over thirty years. However, the time for change has now come for both companies. “I am very proud of what we have built together with Weber and how many close customer relationships we have developed over the years. “But I believe that the time has now come for the Niederwieser Group to focus,” says Manfred Niederwieser, President of the Niederwieser Group, explaining the decision.

Opening your own branch brings great advantages and added value, especially for Italian customers: from 2025, they will benefit from access to the entire Weber portfolio of innovative processing and packaging solutions as well as service offerings - from advice and project management to after-sales support towards the use of global software solutions and support structures. This means Weber is able to provide even more comprehensive support to food producers in Italy. With the launch of Weber Food Technology Italia, all Niederwieser employees who previously worked as part of the Weber sales partnership will also become part of the new Weber team. The team's many years of experience and know-how are an essential factor and are of great value for the future development and success of the new Weber location. “With Niederwieser we had an incredibly competent and reliable partner at our side. We really appreciate the work we have done so far and are grateful that Niederwieser has established Weber solutions so well in Italy,” emphasizes Tobias Weber, CEO of the Weber Group. “I think it’s all the nicer that we can continue this work and, above all, that the employees will continue to remain loyal to their customers – only in the name of Weber from 2025.” Niederwieser Spa Managing Director Gerhard Zoeschg sees great potential, especially in the expanded sales options: “I am pleased that, together with my team, I will be able to offer our customers Weber products in the future that were previously not possible as a partner. This includes, for example, the diverse digital products.” In the future, Italian customers will be able to draw on the entire Weber solution portfolio of products and services. To ensure fast and comprehensive customer support, Weber also plans to further expand its service offering and build a spare parts warehouse for high and short-term availability.
