Evenord 2021 does not take place
Against the background of the ongoing corona pandemic, Evenord eG, organizer of the evenord trade fair, has decided not to hold the innovation fair for butchers and restaurants this year. The 52nd edition of evenord will not take place as planned from 25 to 26 September 2021 on the NürnbergMesse site. The next date for the popular industry get-together is in autumn 2022. Andreas Iser-Hirt and Christian Tschulik, board members of Evenord eG, the decision to cancel was not an easy one: "Due to the ongoing uncertainties in the current situation, we, Evenord eG as the organizer, no choice but to cancel the evenord this year with a heavy heart. The aim of the trade fair is not only to enable the diverse establishment and expansion of business relationships, but also to create a special experience for the industry: communicative, warm and cozy. We cannot estimate this at the moment, which is why we want to give our exhibitors and visitors the greatest possible planning security by making an early decision. We are looking ahead and are going straight to the preparations for an inspiring evenord in autumn 2022. "
Thomas Preutenborbeck, member of the management at NürnbergMesse, adds: “Evenord has a distinctive character. For over 50 years, the trade fair in southern Germany has been a great meeting place for butchers and restaurateurs and at the same time a festival for the whole family. It is known and loved for its feel-good factor and the special family atmosphere. Here we exchange ideas, try things out and experience things together - which unfortunately cannot be planned under the current circumstances. However, we are already looking forward to catching up on all of this at evenord 2022. "
About the evenord
Evenord presents itself in the Nuremberg exhibition center with a wide range of products for modern butchers, snack bars, party service companies and gastronomy. Most of the visitors come from Northern Bavaria and the neighboring federal states. At the innovation fair you will find fresh ideas for everyday butcher and gastronomy and discover new products for meat processing, shopfitting as well as sophisticated packaging solutions and practical work clothing. In addition, a large range of delicatessen items and decorative items, cooling equipment and vehicles as well as cleaning and disinfecting agents are offered. The organizer of the trade exhibition for the butcher's trade is Evenord eG. NürnbergMesse is responsible for the organization and implementation.
