Anuga relies on hybrid

“Transform” is the main theme of this year's Anuga. It is not only about topics related to the change in the food and beverage industry, but also about new approaches for the world's leading trade fair itself, which will take place in a hybrid format for the first time. As a result, the usual presence fair with product presentations on site in Cologne will be supplemented by the digital Anuga @home. 
The hybrid format has the advantage that industry participants from all over the world - exhibitors, trade visitors and the trade press - can exchange information live in Cologne or digitally via the newly developed platform and find out about important industry topics. The addition of the digital platform to the analog trade fair creates a new hybrid trade fair experience wherever the key players, decision-makers and other relevant target groups are.

Digital tools for maximum reach
The digital Anuga @home offers exhibitors various presentation options. The platform is accessed via the virtual lobby. Here there is an overview of all features as well as initial recommendations for relevant contacts, exhibitors and upcoming trade fair program items.

The platform also offers other components such as the “Main Stages” on which the program curated by Anuga takes place. On the “Congress Stages”, for example, top speakers present the topics of the industry - live on site from Cologne or via stream from all over the world. Product innovations and highlights from the exhibitors will be presented on the “Product Stages”. There will also be other target group-specific stages, for example the “Anuga Trade Shows Stage”, the “Anuga Start-up Stage”, the “Anuga taste Innovation Stage” or the “Anuga Food Trends Stage”.

In the area of ​​exhibitors and products, the “show floor” represents the counterpart to the exhibition hall. From here there is access to the various stands of the exhibitors, the so-called “showrooms”. In the showroom, exhibitors provide relevant information about their companies, products and services. You can contact visitors, other exhibitors, top decision-makers, buyers, industry experts and media representatives via the "Communication Center" via audio, video or chat as one-to-one communication. Relevant contacts and companies can be found easily and interactively via the visual “Discovery Graph” - either via the networks, personal contacts or by matching with the specified interests.

In the coming weeks, the trade fair team will, among other things, hold webinars with live demonstrations in order to present the functions and possibilities of the digital platform. The live program of Angua @home will be available to visitors from October 11.10th to October 13.10.2021th, XNUMX. Afterwards, content will still be available on demand. Access to networking will also remain after the actual trade fair period.
