Spectacular advertisement for poultry
Berlin, 20. September 2018. Germany flies on poultry - literally! Anyone approaching from the air during these days of the capital of Lower Saxony, Hanover, will be greeted by a huge logo of the "Poultry Republic of Germany" as unusual as it is charming. In white on green the lettering "Welcome to the poultry republic of Germany" shines on an acreage of 5.000 square meters directly in the entry lane of the airport Hannover-Langenhagen. The widely visible motif was drawn into the field with fleece and can still be seen there until the end of November. With this spectacular action, the German poultry industry is giving even more emphasis to its Dialogue Initiative "Poultry Republic of Germany" launched this summer.
Poultry industry is expanding dialogue with consumers - now also on Facebook
This is about the contents of the industry: Especially with regard to the important topics of nutrition, animal welfare and sustainability, the German poultry industry has much more to offer than many people know. In order to promote direct exchange with consumers, the industry has therefore created an additional dialogue offer on Facebook. The newly designed website Deutsches-Geflügel.de also provides comprehensive background information on all aspects of the poultry industry in Germany. Visitors to the site also have the option of using an appropriate tool to ask their individual questions, to which they receive a personal and comprehensive answer.

"The Poultry Republic of Germany is a charming invitation to dialogue - and just as charming and inviting presents our logo from the air," explains Friedrich-Otto Ripke, President of the ZDG Central Association of the German poultry industry. "It makes you curious, animated to visit our channels and to engage ourselves in our messages. "Incidentally, the poultry industry remains consistently sustainable in the implementation of the campaign: the used fleece will continue to be used as frost protection in the nursery after dismantling the field.
