Safe inline metal detection for raw meat and processed meat
In one of Singapore's most highly automated meat processing factories, a wide variety of fresh and processed chicken, beef and lamb products are made in traditional HALAL quality. When processing meat, high quality standards must be met. This reference customer therefore looks at every production step carefully in its 11.000 m² production facility, where a quarter of the demand for fresh poultry in Singapore is processed.

The production line for HALAL sausages has the highest quality requirements. Products are made from the best Australian meat in compliance with all HACCP rules and are delivered to supermarkets, renowned restaurants and hotels.
A requirement of the HACCP standard is the placement of metal detectors at various critical points in production. KSB had already defined different control points in meat processing and was looking for a solution for the final inspection after the packaging.
