Owning family wants to further develop the company

The Waldecker sausage and ham manufacturer Henkelmann oHG, Volkmarsen, will remain independent, contrary to market rumors. Henkelmann (200 employees, €uro 25 million turnover) has, in addition to the long-standing partnership with the large forms of the food retail trade, developed into a specialist for pre-cut service items, which are sold nationwide in an extensive range of products.

The economic strength and the sales competence of the company are an attractive basis for foreign food manufacturers to enter the German market. Despite the resulting interesting prospects, the owner family decided to develop the company independently.
